Ludum Dare: style sample

I am helping make an entry for this round of Ludum Dare: a challenge where entrants have to make a functioning game within three days that follows a voted theme. The theme this time around is "minimalism" (which feels like a cop-out theme considering the challenge).

I'm working with a couple of programmers who are putting all my snazzy pictures in order and making them wiggle proper. We're making up a noir puzzle game where you wander about a town looking to help people with their problems. Some people just don't want to be helped, though,and don't like it when you try to ask. I'll be posting updates on art and game progression on my tumblr while I continue arting and we flesh out the game!
